Who got the better deal?

Raising the mini-wage was contested by Republican's because it would create an undo burden on small businesses and raise prices of consumer goods as well as in the food industry, which in turn would cause unemployment to increase.

The new Democrat majority promised a mini-wage increase as part of their campaign to take control over congress.

With an 87-10 vote in the Democrat-led senate, $8.3 Billion in tax breaks was won by the Republican's while granting the mini-wage hike over two years to $7.25 per hour from $5.15 per hour to offset the costs to small businesses.

But some companies are already laying off workers because the tax cuts will come too-little too-late to offset the immediate wage hike.

So who won and who lost?

What good can come of a mini-wage hike if employers have to pay for the same work that is being done now below this increase? As wages increase due to government regulation instead of market influence, prices across the board must also rise to offset it, thus making it a deceptive wash for lower paid workers who lose even more, without realizing it. Thus are the ways of deceitful democrats.

Most people making minimum wage are very young, just entering into the work force and a small percentage at that. Democrats are attempting to con these youngsters for their votes in the future, preying on their inexperience and naivety like vultures. All this while promoting abortion, homosexuality and group consensus, causes democrats to lie constantly in a desperate attempt to keep their party competitive, using the liberal media to tear down traditional conservative moral values that have made America the best hope for the world.

Is it any wonder why terrorism increases with liberalization (not freedom) of society?

Bush's Worst SOTU speech

How bad was it? Bad enough for the senate to pass a "non-binding" resolution against Bush's policy in Iraq, and embolden liberals and terrorists' around the world. Prediction: America will not survive this fiasco created by the left and joined by weak RINO's missing a backbone. So what was the point of passing it then? All this does is put our troops in further danger, broadcasting to the enemy that U.S. policy is wrong.

This irresponsible act of treason by these so-called American's is beyond contempt. All those congressional wimps who voted for this disgusting display of cowardice should be ashamed of themselves for what will result in causing more casualties. These high and mighty know-it-all's in congress may be the ones who will pay the severest price of all, even worse than the terrorists' in the end.

According to this article, "Pelosi and several Democratic chairmen are leaving for Iraq on Friday. " Did you hear that terrorists'?, your helpers in congress are coming to see you.

If we lose now by cutting and running, then we certainly do deserve it under this congress being run by an ultra-liberal nut case. At least Bush understands the enemy, but even he seems to have lost some resolve, being worn down by the leftist media and whining democrats.

Bush began the speech weakly, kissed up to the left and then slowly lowered the boom on conservatives. Bush all but abandoned his base with his worst SOTU speech to date, especially on domestic issues where Bush turned into a lackluster liberal appeaser.

Observations follow...

President Bush couldn't have gushed anymore about Nancy dear, giving her a stage she so desperately desired, as her face lit up like a plastic nite-light. That smile of hers is enough to give anyone bad dreams. And what was she chewing on, her gums? Is she wearing dentures already or was she just steamed when Bush talked about defending the nation?

Was Hillary Clinton sitting on a phone book during the SOTU speech? It sure did look like it as she tried desperately to be noticed above Hussein Osama, oh, I mean Obama. She looked so much like a ventriloquist dummy, I laughed out loud when the camera focused on her. Did she pay for that coverage? I mean it was incredibly obvious, and way over the top how they had her set-up. When they showed her again, I was actually embarrassed for the queen of carpetbaggers. You couldn't pay me enough to vote for her, no way, no how! But she'll be good for laughs as she promises everything under the sun for everyone over the next two years. Much like people who call back to awards verification messages left on their machines, only the suckers will fall for her pandering sales pitch.

The Speech
Bush's speech was nothing an insurance giveaway and Hillarycare tax hike for middle class American's, who will bear the brunt of paying for the so-called number of poor folks claiming they can't afford health insurance, now set to suddenly skyrocket thanks to Bush and his new socialist agenda.

Another giveaway to the democrats and their environmental nut jobs was Bush's call for lower gas prices, that will cost American's thousands of dollars in research for new cars as they will have to spend hundreds of millions to meet Bush's idiotic fuel goals. There is more oil in the ground than we will ever need for eons, yet Bush is caving to the liberals on energy because he wants to secure some kind of legacy above Richard Nixon, who's poll numbers he's down to again, at least for those who believe in such imprecision.

As Joseph Farah of World Net Daily notes in Gore's State of the Union ...

• Setting a mandatory fuels standard to require 35 billion gallons of renewable and alternative fuels by 2017 – whether they are ready or not, whether they work or not and whether or not you want them.

• Raising the so-called CAFE standards (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) for cars and light trucks. In other words, mandate better and better fuel economy no matter how many lives it cost – and make no mistake, it always costs lives on the highway.

• Fight "global warming" by cutting the growth of carbon dioxide emissions in automobiles over the next 10 years. Yes, Bush concedes, Al Gore was right all along!

• Federal grants to states to provide medical insurance to everyone – presumably Bush's illegal alien amigos as well.

One the war
Did anyone notice how the democrats just sat there when Bush said America must be protected? Obviously they don't agree. Democrats' want terrorism to come to our shores so they can say they told us so. But of course the backfire effect would be dramatic. Democrats cannot convince anyone they'd protect America, because everyone can see they have no desire to, never have either. Dems want utopia on earth now so they sing songs like they're in some fantasy flick at Disneyland.

It is time we stop changing our way of life for terrorists! Just today I went to mail a small package to Canada. I was practically required to give my left testicle in order to ship it. Sign this, this and this. It was like signing a Mortgage!

Calling General George Patton
I'm sick and tired of putting up with damn terrorists' having to change my life for those evil bastards. I can just hear what Gen. George S. Patton would say, "Wipe 'em out, every damn one of em!" Bush is right about the terrorists', they must be defeated. That's what we pay the military for isn't it? Win this war now by telling those Islamic bastards in no uncertain terms to choose sides, freedom or terror, period. Ship those who want freedom out of there, and then turn the terrorists' sand box into red glass, and be done with it! Enough is enough.

First it's four years too late. Second, once they're (illegals) hear, they're not going back voluntarily. The cost of shipping them back and forth would be outrageous. Enforce the laws we have now, period. We don't need more laws and regulations that won't do any good anyway. Hire the border troops and fund them like the war, because that's what it's come to.

Just wait 'til 2008? It would be nice if the "we the people" elected a president who won't cave to liberalism, and an uncorrupted congress that works for the people instead of trying to create robots of us all.

So far, there isn't a candidate I'd vote for.

Reversal of Fortune

Terrorists' are again free to communicate their plans for another attack somewhere in America. After no terror attacks have happened since 9/11, much of the credit for preventing terror plans was due to the so-called wire tapping of conversations coming into the U.S. from overseas by the government.

President Bush has now caved into the Democrat's worry-filled concern about the rights of terrorists' who want to complete their plans for blowing up our cities and killing as many innocent American's as possible.

President George W. Bush has decided not to reauthorize the controversial domestic warrantless surveillance program for terrorism suspects and to put it under the authority of a secret special court, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said on Wednesday.

The president has determined not to reauthorize the Terrorist Surveillance Program when the current authorization expires," Gonzales wrote in a letter to Senate leaders.

Any electronic surveillance that was occurring as part of the Terrorist Surveillance Program will now be conducted subject to the approval of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court," Gonzales said, from NewsMax.com

Indeed, the door has been opened wide for Osama's Al Qaeda, whose homicide bombers are set to launch pre-planned missions that will now be a cakewalk for them. Looks like the show '24' came back just in time to give us a preview of coming events at home.

Democrats also don't want the U.S. Military being supplied with more fighters to win the war in Iraq, insisting we bring the troops home and forget about the Iraqi people and the sectarian violence taking place. Apparently, democrats don't care how many might be killed in Iraq as long as they can score some political points against Bush and the GOP, while lowering the power of the United States in the eyes of the world. They also don't seem to care if America starts looking like Iraq, as leftist democrats' feel America deserves punishment for invading and freeing Iraq from its dictator since some things haven't worked out perfectly, or in the amount of time they wanted, as if this or any war could be predicted.

So, if and when terrorism come back to our shores, or comes from sleeper cells within, who will the public blame for it. To be sure, the leftist media, working with the DNC has already written scripts for criticizing and putting the full-blame on Bush and the NeoCons for everything bad to come in the future, while taking credit for any positives democrats had nothing to do with. After all, that's how Bill Clinton stole the presidency.

The blame game of the left is in full speed as they gear up for 2008. All we hear now is talk of HIllary and Obama, as if Republican candidates are either non-existent or are the longest of long-shots in the history of politics. All this after democrats have been back in control of congress for only these past few weeks, which already seems like an eternity.

Pelosi's Hotter Air

While wearing gloves and shivering, Nancy Pelosi was on stage whining about Global Warming, as California citrus crops were devastated by a cold burst. Yet democrats are trying to push the big lie in the face of contradicting evidence.

Climate change happens in cycles. We have El Niño etc. taking place that scientists have warned about. Just as their wild warnings of a looming "Ice Age" in the late 70's never occurred, global warming is the same kind of illogical hype created to scare people into forking over their money for needless projects, which is really what democrats and leftists' are all about.

What's worse is that democrat's claim the money will help the poor, when in fact they use it to enrich themselves and their friends with endless parties, showering awards on each other to keep their fantasies alive in a Hollywood enduced atmosphere, where it all looks so good, but none of it is real.

Grandma Pelosi is moving to create a special committee to recommend legislation for cutting greenhouse gases, most likely to be chaired by Rep. Edward Markey, D-Mass., a Democratic leadership aide said Wednesday. One wonders what she would do without the plastics industry. Well, I guess as long as she can keep up appearences, that's all that really matters.

Markey has advocated raising mileage standards for cars, trucks and SUVs and is one of the House's biggest critics of oil companies and U.S. automakers.

Clearly this is all designed to increase the cost of cars and trucks while taking profits out of those businesses, which won't be employing anyone soon. Remember the energy crisis in California a few years ago? That was caused by the same environmental lunacy of abortionist liberals like Pelosi and Barbara Boxer not letting electrical and nuclear plants be built for decades to keep pace with the rising populations. They were forced to admit their mistakes, but they've now gone back to their old ways, as they refuse to learn.

Same thing with the forest fires that burned millions of acres of trees in California due to the fact that the environmental tree-sitters would not allow the forests to be properly managed. The results were devastating. The loss of those trees likely has as much or more of an effect greenhouse gases than anything humans have ever done. In fact, there has been more carbon spewed into the air by a single volcano than all the emissions from all the cars in the world combined in history! Democrat's will never tell anyone of these facts as they push their idiocy onto a dumbed-down liberally (un) educated, emotionally-hyped, comfortably-kept American public.

The leftists' in this nation and across the ocean in the European Union, must be stopped from destroying the world with their insane attempts to bring utopia on earth. Wack jobs like Pelosi, Hussein Obama, Clinton, Kennedy, Durbin, Reid, etc. ad nauseam, fuel future destruction and wreck havoc on the nations economy with massive tax hikes – named something else – and spending, thus costing taxpayers more and more until the U.S. economy crashes, which is what democrats' plan for political gain.

New York Rep. Chuckie Rangel, the 76-year-old chairman of the tax-writing Ways and Means Committee, who has never seen a tax he didn't fall in love with, would surely give the go ahead for any tax on carbon-based fuels like coal, oil or natural gas, which have been blamed for warming the atmosphere. A chief advocate of such a tax is former Democratic Vice President Al Gore, who also voted in favor of raiding social security to pay for wasteful social programs in the 1990's. They've started already by pushing for more taxes on oil and natural gas companies and the auto industry in an unthoughtful manner that will backfire as the cost is passed on to consumers.

Democrat's want to go back to the days of their glory during the depression when they conned the public into relying on government to bail them out. It is all they have and all they know how to do, getting people on welfare to further their socialist agenda while taking away individual freedoms, including speech and religion, yet pushing abortion and illegal immigration. Teddy Kennedy just announced that the Iraqi's should come here to live. Sure Teddy, that's all we need, more enemies that hate us being let into the nation to destroy it. Teddy should face the same gallows that Saddam did for his treason.

Anything that goes wrong will be blamed on Bush and Republican's by Democrat's, no matter what happens under their watch of congress. The economy has been strong and growing every year since Bush was elected president, which is what democrat's will attempt to destroy as they revise history with massive lies in their rush to reverse course.

Our Final Stand?

President Bush's long-awaited speech on the war in Iraq seemed less than inspiring as he put the burden of winning on the Iraqi security forces who have not proven themselves worthy of fighting or shown much desire to halt civil violence.

Included warnings to Iran were the highlight of the speech, but Bush did not elaborate on that except to say that he has added carrier strike groups as assurance to our allies in the region. More on that below.

The Democrat's have whined for years about the war in Iraq, "Bring the troops home!" They've convinced themselves, despite facts to the contrary, that they were elected for their opposition to the war, when it was Republican's who were voted out for overspending while their parties leader took the blame for the war's lack of progress of which Democrat's have been no help at all, except to the enemy.

President Bush has now claimed responsibility for the Iraq mess, giving Democrat's as good a shot at him as they'll ever get as reason for taking back the White House, if Bush's new and perhaps final plan fails.

But instead of following through on their endless bashing of the war, and even after all the deaths, Democrat's will do nothing to stop the president from adding more troops to this war they claim is another Vietnam. Democrats' will give a pitiful symbolic showing of support for the troops, while clamoring to be against the president's expansion of it. This is the lamest congressional leadership there has ever been in America for sure, yet democrat's know they can do nothing to end the fighting in Iraq without bringing it back here at home, for which they won't allow themselves to be blamed for as they point the finger at the president.

So all the childish whining has been for naught. The thousands of headlines, talking points, books, talk shows etc., et al, has all been a bunch of hot air, proving that's all the Democrat's really have, much the same way as Republican's have claimed to be fiscally conservative while spending the people's money like high rollers.

With their slim majority, Democrat's have threatened to cut off the funding for the war in order to sound tough, yet they know they can't do that to the military men and women risking their lives to protect ours. They are either with us or against us, and it seems pretty clear they're not with us.

War with Iran, Syria
In attempting to defeat America, the Iranian regime believe this is their chance to take over the world for Islam. We are left with a mess and little choice in Iraq, that looks to get worse before it gets better, if it does at all. The result of our pouring more troops into the theater will likely have Iranian president Ahmadinejad grinning from ear to ear, as Bush's speech is an admission of failure to date as much as it is wishful hopes of success, leaving plenty of doubt to go around.

Bush made an implied military threat against both nations: "We will disrupt the attacks on our forces. We will interrupt the flow of support from Iran and Syria. And we will seek out and destroy the networks providing advanced weaponry and training to our enemies in Iraq."

Bush's order to "disrupt the flow of support from Iran and Syria," is playing into the Iranians hand for their religious quest to bring about apocalyptic chaos in the region to fulfill their Mahdi or 12th Imam prophecy.

The choice is not easy, but this war must be won or the disaster to follow will make 9/11 look pathetic in contrast, as other nations are pulled into a regional conflict. If America left Iraq as the left would like, it wouldn't be long before we'd be forced to return, at a vastly greater expense. Perhaps the congressional democrats would be willing to foot the bill themselves? Only if they can we allow them to replace freedom for government control, as is their goal for socializing America.

Caring only about their power and money, the leftists' can only root for our defeat in Iraq to justify their position of appeasement and lack of resolve, in hopes of ending America's power in the world for creating a level playing field for everyone else. What they don't understand is that Islam would rule, not socialism.

Dems Deceptive Distractions Begin Anew

Supposedly stopping the Democrat's Press Conference, Cindy Sheehan and her groupies claimed it was they who put democrats into office, demanding they bring the troops home from Iraq. They simply fail to grasp the dangerous consequences if we did that before securing the country. Like bratty kids who want what they want when they want it, they just don't care about anything else.

This shows clearly that the far left has no clue about running a war, or who is in charge of it as described by the U.S. Constitution. Democrats' defeatism is clear proof of their willingness to accept America's defeat in hopes of gaining power for their party at any expense to the our security or standing in the world.

So, are Democrats using Cindy as cover for their failure to have any plans for the war in Iraq or the nation domestically? Or are they using her to distract us from what they're really doing in the background, likely unconstitutionally? Remember always that these dems are the most deceptive liberal group in history, and they need to be watched and checked 24/7.

Democrats needed former–thank God–president Bill Clinton to make an appearance in the Senate to make them feel their barely there power as he was seen in the halls and bathroom of the Senate. Geesh, they'll do anything for publicity, even bringing in their impeached disgrace. Turning to their new age therapies, the libs have already forgotten 9/11 ever happened. What World Trade Center? For dems, outta sight, outta mind.

Who wasn't appalled to see Nancy Pelosi smiling over president Ford's casket last weekend? She is scary indeed, and not just due to her plastic facial scars either, as she sucks up as much attention as possible. Now she has the gall to stand up holding the gavel surrounded by children, who wouldn't even be there had their mothers sided with Pelosi's Pro-abortion votes for ending those lives.

January 4, 2007: Invoking novus ordo seclorum as "a new order for the centuries", Nancy Pelosi began her reign as Speaker of the House for the 110th Congress. You can bet her speech was carefully crafted and vetted. Pelosi is the pick of the Plutarchs — and her mention of the New Order is not accidental. — PID

Regular folks sense that we're in for some real trouble in the country with that ultra-liberal nut case in power, third in line for the White House. God help us all!

Being such a space cadettress, perhaps Nancy should be tested on what she did yesterday to see if she remembers? See: It's 2007. Do you know what your lawmakers are up to?

So what if we did what the anti-war protesters want and brought the troops home? Would they take responsibility for terror attacks that would likely follow here in America? We haven't had one since 9/11/01 when began fighting Islamic terror. Should we blame them and put Cindy on trial for the numerous deaths as a result of another attack in an America city? Should Cindy Sheehan perhaps pay the same price Saddam did? Of course this would never happen because she and her appeasing misfits are not in control, at least not yet. However, one day they may be, and that day could mark freedom's last.

Bush ups the ante
Not just to piss-off Cindy and the gang, president Bush will call for a surge in troop numbers for Iraq of 20,000 or more, to put the final nail in the terrorists' coffins. At least we hope, but we have to try. Today there is news of North Korea's Prepping Nuclear Weapons Test. This is likely being conducted in cahoots with Iran.

What the president should do at this stage is expand the war wider to include Iran and Syria in order to stop the insurgents coming across the borders. For more on that see: To Win in Baghdad, Strike at Tehran.

Iran talks tough like a bully, but one good smack in the nose, and they may go running for their mullahs.

CNN got it right?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Obama seen as Osama

CNN may have finally got something right about one of their own leftist con-men. Obama is like Osama, a big talker to undermine America. But was this a set-up by the Clinton campaign? Is it possible Obama scares Hillary enough that she called her media company, to make a splash to stop Barack in his tracks? After all, she’s getting no coverage with him sucking-up all the oxygen, which is what Hillary wants to do, like her Hubba Bubba, which is another problem for her campaign.

Suddenly on the same day as Osama Obama we find out , HILLARY PREDICTS: OBAMA CANDIDACY WILL DIMINISH. No coincidence, I’m sure! Nope, that just sailed right by everyone Hillary, really it did! The Clinton's have no shame.

These attention seekers, especially on the left, are all about themselves, their power, their control, their desires, their fame. They don’t care one iota about anyone else no matter what they say or how many promises they make with a straight face. That pic of Hill (at the link above) is majorly embarrassing. Can't wait to see her on Vanity Fair like Valerie Plame in cognito. The gall of these hyped-up fools is enough to make most folks blush.

It’s hard to decide who to “dislike” more with between these two wannabe canidates, which leads some to believe at this early stage, that we are being set-up for a newcomer out of the blue to run for president. These democrats are very tricky deceivers, as is their media machine, and everyone knows that timing is everything. Therefore, watch for who else might throw their hat into the ring over the next several months.

They’ll likely spring it on CNN.
