Indictment DeLay's Dems Downfall

With a new indictment against Tom DeLay, who is temporarily stepping aside, the democrats believe they have started to crash the GOP party and they're giddy as all get out.

But as has been the case over the past four years, the democrats are betting their hopes and dreams on emotional hysterics driven by partisan revenge.

Image hosted by Photobucket.comAfter finally finding a conciliatory judge who would allow democrats to proceed with their charges of conspiracy against DeLay, they've inadvertently set themselves up for another battle they will likely lose, thus delaying temporarily their own inevitable downfall.

Rep. Tom DeLay

For now, the leftists' are happy campers again as their cronies have been cowed to their wishes, having pushed through this very shaky indictment against Mr. DeLay they've been whining about for months.

This is surely setting the "impeach Bush" liberals on fire, with feelings that charges against Bush are all but certain to come. However, be listening for a crash on the left to be heard around the world in the not too distant future.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com“This indictment is nothing more than prosecutorial retribution by a partisan Democrat,” Madden said, citing prosecutor Ronnie Earle, a Democrat.

Madden later added: “They could not get Tom DeLay at the polls. They could not get Mr. DeLay on the House floor. Now they’re trying to get him into the courtroom. This is not going to detract from the Republican agenda.”

Since losing the majority way back in 1994, Democrats have been attempting to run the country through judicial fiat, by stacking the courts with liberal judges who they use to push their agenda by creating laws from the bench instead of through legislation as required by the U.S. Constitution.

DeLay's Lawyer said:"INDICTMENT IS LIKE A DEAD SKUNK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, AND IT STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN."

The Associated Press reports that "DeLay has denied committing any crime and accused the Democratic district attorney leading the investigation, Ronnie Earle, of pursuing the case for political motives." Earle is a liberal Democrat, and in 1993 according to Michael Barone's article at USNews.com, "he brought criminal charges against Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, then comptroller and now U.S. senator; most of the charges were dismissed by the judge before trial, and the remaining charges were withdrawn."
The case was summarized as follows by the Austin Review: "Earle's politically motivated indictment of Senator Hutchinson on charges that she used state funds to run her senatorial campaign made even his own supporters cringe."

The backfire for democrats on this is going to make Katrina look like a spring shower in comparison.

Image hosted by Photobucket.comThere is another hurricane brewing named "Able Danger" that is coming to swamp the democrats soon, making their current fling against DeLay a last-gasp attack on the GOP that may have severe consequences. Able Danger Witnesses to Go Public

The funniest quote of the day winner was this: “The criminal indictment of Majority Leader Tom Delay is the latest example that Republicans in Congress are plagued by a culture of corruption at the expense of the American people,” said House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

Image hosted by Photobucket.comLike she's anyone to talk about corruption? How many trips has Pelosi taken on the taxpayers dime? Democrats are corrupt to their core, filled with so much hatred and arrogance that they actually feel they are above the law. Dems constantly blame others for what they have done or are doing themselves at the same time. Pointing the finger at others hypocritically is the kiss of death for Democrats.

This is why the indictment against DeLay will be another huge mistake for the democrats that could cost them dearly in 2006, unless the GOP lets DeLay twist in the wind on his own, which isn't very likely.

So dems are about to step right into the muck again, having not learned one thing in the past four years, still clinging to their partisan hatred of America. Amazing!

Cindy Goes to Jail – Public claps!

Sheehan, 48, was the first taken into custody. She stood up and was led to a police vehicle while protesters chanted, "The whole world is watching." So Cindy got what she wanted being dragged out smiling for the camera while her lemmings clapped, hoping that maybe CBS will make a new movie about her being in Jail like they did for Martha Stewart? After all, Cindy is in it for the glamour of the cameras.

But in reality, those watching were clapping that she's finally being shut-up. While shopping at the store on Monday, all of sudden there was a burst of clapping. I looked ahead to see what was going on, and saw on the TV above that she was being taken away. I asked what was happening and they said Cindy was being arrested. "Good they're finally getting rid of that anti-American nonsense," "She's such a looney" I heard as the group broke-up and went on with their shopping. Then I listened as one woman said, "I hope they throw away the key." I agreed as others nodded along. Seems the general public isn't as happy about Cindy's protests as the media tries to portray.

While freedom of speech is protected, breaking the law isn't, and it surely won't get her any brownie points with anyone other than radical leftist groupies who's parents were likely the same sort of losers protesting Vietnam that they're trying to relive 40 years later. Only this time their rants have no chance of changing anything because America has learned from those mistakes, and will not be swayed by nincompoops who only protest to be seen on TV. Also because we have a president who knows that this mission must be accomplished for peace to have a chance in the Middle East.

Ironically, Cindy's protest came on the same day as a new bill was passed by the U.S. Senate that Gives Bush $50 Billion More for Wars

On Sunday, a rally supporting the war drew roughly 700 participants. Speakers included veterans of World War II and the war in Iraq, as well as family members of soldiers killed in Iraq.

"I would like to say to Cindy Sheehan and her supporters, don't be a group of unthinking lemmings. It's not pretty," said Mitzy Kenny of Ridgeley, W.Va., whose husband died in Iraq last year. The anti-war demonstrations "can affect the war in a really negative way. It gives the enemy hope."

But unfortunately, Cindy IS the mother of unthinking lemmings who don't care about anyone but themselves, wanting desperately to spread their anti-American socialist garbage any way they can. This protest only helps our enemies to kill more Americans and Iraqis by encouraging terror.

Cindy ex-Sheehan is actually enabling her sons killers much like dem senator John Kerry did while protesting with Hanoi Jane back in the hippy days of yesteryear. It's the same thing as giving more ammunition to a serial murder on a rampage just before he kills you, only this time Cindy wants others to suffer like she has, so she eggs-on the enemy while bashing the president in hopes that more American soldiers are killed in Iraq. Taking sides with the enemy as Cindy has is cause for her being left in jail for years!

Insane? She sure as hell is, as are her followers blindly being led off a cliff, as the whole world watches.

Clinton – Appeasing Terror for World Control

Ex-president Bill Clinton who appeased Yasser Arafat for years leading up to the Intifada against Israel in 2000, and who allowed Osama bin Laden to make several attacks on America around the world and in the homeland, culminating on the 9/11 World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks, is still a believer in appeasement. Clinton's failed policies led directly to where we're at today.

Last week, attendees at the Clinton Global Initiative were told on Friday that terrorist groups like Hezbollah and Hamas should be "engaged" by the world's peace loving nations - even if their members persist in trying to destroy Israel and America.

Newsday reports that during a session on religious-political relations, Alastair Crooke, director of the British-based Conflicts Forum, said:

"Governments should engage groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah, who, despite their use of violence, were willing to participate in the political process and had strong credibility with many people in the Middle East."

By ignoring such groups, Crooke warned, governments risk inadvertently creating and promoting far more radical organizations.

Ex-President Clinton suggested that the best way to prevent terrorists from discouraging economic growth in the Middle East was to offer businesses looking to invest there "terrorism insurance."

"I think we ought to consider maybe setting up some sort of an insurance program against terror because I think there’s maybe too much fear of it," he told the group.

So Clinton wants to support terrorists' in their aim to destroy Israel. Maybe that's been his plan all along, as evidenced by his many invitations to the master terrorist Yasser Arafat into the White House that ended up giving Arafat and the Palestinian's nearly everything asked for. But even after that, the little tryrant decided to launch his terror war against Israel, which he kept up until his death.

Image hosted by Photobucket.comU.S. President Bill Clinton meets with Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat at Camp David, Md. in July, 2000.

Isn't it strange how peace was never able to gain a foothold in Israel until after Arafat died, while the media for years kept telling everyone that he was a "man of peace"?

Let's not forget that Bill Clinton allowed terrorism to flourish in the 1990's, even after Osama bin Laden had declared war on the U.S. three separate times, culminating more than 3000 deaths on September 11, 2001.

Clinton also gave U.S. nuclear secrets to China, and possibly Iran in exchange for campaign money while granting Enron Corporation a government contract in India worth Billions, thus saving it from bankruptcy. The corruption under Clinton from there, including Global Crossings and Worldcom is what helped lead to the economic bubble-bursting and recession during the last year of his regime, that did far more harm to America than any real good.

Image hosted by Photobucket.comBy following the insanity of Clinton, the democrats and those in the media kept Arafat and his terrorism going for years, killing hundreds of innocent Israelis with Palestinian suicide bombers.

Clinton flips and lies against Bush

Clinton said: "We have never done this before. Never in the history of our republic have we ever financed a conflict, military conflict, by borrowing money from somewhere else."

Clinton added: "We depend on Japan, China, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and Korea primarily to basically loan us money every day of the year to cover my tax cut and these conflicts and Katrina. I don't think it makes any sense."

But the FACTS prove Clinton wrong, and that he's still lying. He's clearly trying to distract from the Able Danger case that is being worked on in Congress, that will prove democrats on the 9/11 commission covered-up evidence for him. Clinton must believe that all people have short memories like liberals do. But he's wrong about that too!

It was Bill Clinton who appeased North Korea and Osama bin Laden for his entire presidency because he was and is a weakling, not a leader. Bill Clinton should actually face severe charges for his treason against America along with Al Gore, Janet Reno, Jamie Gorelick and Sandy Berger for the damage they've done to this great country, and for not doing their jobs to protect and defend the nation as oaths of office require.

Now Clinton says there weren't any WMD's. Why then did he bomb the living out of Iraq in 1998 claiming many times that Saddam did have the weapons?

1. "Saddam Hussein has spent the better part of this decade, and much of his nation’s wealth, not on providing for the Iraqi people, but on developing nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons – and the missiles to deliver them." – Bill Clinton - State of the Union Speech 1998

2."One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line." – Bill Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998

3. "If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction program." – Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

4. "He (Saddam) will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983." – Sandy Berger, Feb. 18, 1998

President Bush was left with a mess, including 9/11 to deal with and a recession in full swing by the time he took office. The facts are facts and they cannot be covered up the damn liberal media mongrels who should all be held accountable for their lies and cover-ups for Clinton and the democratic party of criminals, who also support and egg-on terrorists' with their constant criticism of president Bush, and his administration.

The liberal media should face stiff penalties for their lies, in the tens of millions of dollars for each and every lie they've told over the past 50 years to the American people and then be cleared-out of all liberal bias!

Image hosted by Photobucket.comUS president Bill Clinton, pictured 17 September 2005

In this authors opinion, Bill Clinton is desperate to get back into the game, and wants to become the leader of the entire world through the United Nations, hence his latest recently held "global summit." This is a what the liberal media, with full knowledge, has hidden from the American people in order to spring it as a surprise, and bring Clinton back to power out of the depths of hell.

The damage Clinton would launch against the world would be enormous, but first he will claim that he wants world peace. Clinton will make this announcement while he's visiting the EU. Clinton will work with Javier Solana and be financed by George Soros and elitist democrat's. This will likely come after another disaster and/or more threats from Iran, China or North Korea, and possibly Russia as well.

Bill Clinton has been a liar of epic proportions for all his life, and it was never more apparent than when he ran for president claiming the economy was the worst in fifty years. It wasn't even close, and in fact was coming out of a small and predicted recession at the time, and was considered by economists' to be on the rise.

Clinton inherited the 1990's economy from President Reagan and Bush Sr., who implemented tax cuts to spur the economy, which Clinton rode for all it was worth and killed it with several tax hikes while simultaneously cutting our defense and intelligence budgets to the bone.

As we've all seen with the latest rounds of tax cuts by the Bush administration, the cuts work to stimulate the economy, thereby creating more tax revenue for the nation while simultaneously bringing down the deficit. SEE: Government Tax Receipts Hit New July Record

For this reason, ex-president Clinton is being found out as the liar and manipulator he really is, and he doesn't like it one bit. So he's turning on Bush when he "feels" he's being picked on for mistakes made by democrats with hurricane Katrina, but it isn't working with the majority of the people, and is actually another backfire on the negative democrats.

(D)isaster Hypocrisy

Unlike Bill Clinton, who never took responsibility for anything he did, while at he same time taking credit for things he didn't do, president Bush has taken responsibility for something he couldn't even control, and that hardly anyone blames him for (except wacky liberals) – the Katrina hurricane.

"To the extent that the federal government didn't fully do its job right, I take responsibility," Bush told a White House news conference at which he openly questioned U.S. preparedness for another storm or a "severe attack."

Democrats are "feeling" they've got republicans right where they want them now. However, they've proven themselves perfect for miscalculating the pulse of America in 7 out of the last 10 elections. How many times will democrat voters put up with promises only to be crushed in defeat? The liberal glutton's for punishment never cease to amaze at who they'll believe, support and fund to the hilt. Carter and Clinton are just the two latest examples of put-up con men by the leftist criminals.

Bill Clinton's disaster response actually took longer than Bush's, and he still didn't do anything about it for the rest of his presidency leading up to the WTC attacks on 9/11 that occurred just after he was booted out of office!

Critics say President Bush's personal response to the Hurricane Katrina disaster was too little, too late - with an Air Force One flyover the day after New Orleans' levees broke and a trip to Baton Rouge two days later.

Image hosted by Photobucket.comThe arrogant President Clinton, on other the other hand, got glowing reviews for responding to his administration's biggest disaster, the Oklahoma City bombing - even though Clinton took a full day longer to arrive on the scene than Bush did last week. A fact you'll never see on any liberal "news" network or in the NY Times or Washi Post rag.

Where was Cindy Sheehan, Michael Moore and the rest of the liberal hypocrites then?

New Orleans' levees broke on a Tuesday - and Bush had his own boots-on-the-ground just three days later on Friday.

When the Alfred P. Murrah Building exploded on Wednesday morning, April 19, 1995, President Clinton didn't travel to the scene for four full days.

And when he finally arrived, there was no grumbling by troubled pundits about the delay. In fact, Clinton's response to Oklahoma City is remembered to this day as the turning point of his political fortunes.

Writing this week in New York Magazine, John Heilemann recalls Clinton's April 23 speech about the bombing:

"With breathtaking subtlety and nimbleness, Clinton used that act of terrorism to illustrate the dangers of the wild-eyed anti-government rhetoric then in vogue among the Gingrichian GOP — a move that set him on the road to political redemption." Even Clinton admitted in his book that he was reelected only because of the bombing. Amazingly it also led to the attacks on 9/11 that killed over 3,000 American's in New York, Washington and Pennsylvannia.

The real difference, of course, was that Clinton had a sympathetic media that was just as anxious as he was to blame the disaster on right wing Republicans. Bush, on the other hand, faces a press corps that couldn't wait to use Katrina against him.

The double standard becomes even more obvious when reaction to Katrina is compared with what remains the worst law enforcement debacle in U.S. history - the Clinton administration's decision to rout the Branch Davidians from their encampment at Waco.

More innocent children were killed in that April 19, 1993, assault than died in Oklahoma City. Yet the Clinton administration received little if any blame - and no one was forced to resign.

In fact, after then-Attorney General Janet Reno publicly accepted responsibility, she was hailed as a hero by sympathetic reporters, an irony that's likely not lost on Bush's allegedly "disgraced" ex-FEMA Director Michael Brown.

Good for Dems in 2006?
Opining on how bad the response was for democrats, columnist Mark Steyn writes: "Apart from anything else, it would seem unlikely that in the 2006 elections voters in states unafflicted by Katrina would eschew Republican incumbents and stampede to vote for the party that's given us the New Orleans Police Department, its clown mayor and Louisiana's sob-sister governor. But forget the question of jurisdictional responsibility and instead grant the critics their fraudulent argument that this is all the fault of the federal government - ie, Bush and the Republicans. Why then will it have no electoral fallout?

For the answer, let's go to Nancy Pelosi, leader of the Democratic Party in the House of Representatives. At a meeting in the White House last week, she had the guts to walk up to the flailing Bush and demand he immediately fire the head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency."

As usual, Mark is spot-on.

Who will the democrats blame, blame, blame, blame for the next natural disaster or terror attack? You guessed it, everyone but themselves!

Howard Dean is right, for once.

Yes, it's true. For the first time I am in actual agreement with liberal democrat chairman Howard Dean, who said: "We must ... come to terms with the ugly truth that skin color, age and economics played a deadly role in who survived and who did not," when talking about the hurricane victims.

He's absolutely right. The people of Louisiana have been under democrat 'leadership' for far too long. The democrats have done little if anything to help the people in that state, who's population has been mostly black and poor.

The democrat governor and senator of Louisiana have not helped black people in the state at all, paying them lip service for all these years. Yet liberal democrats want to blame everyone except themselves, even though the majority of American's aren't buying into their immature finger pointing game with hollywood's shrill accuser's.

A New Gallup Pol asked: Who's To Blame? (Results)
-- No One: 38%
--State/Local Officials: 25%
--Federal Agencies: 18%
--President Bush: 13%

That's how far the libberal democrats have declined, to 13%. This small minority are the ones who don't get it, and never will. They blame the president for everything no matter what, but only if he's a republican and especially if conservative as well.

Columnist Charles Krauthammer in today's Washington Post said: "As for blaming the Bush tax cuts, administration budget requests for New Orleans flood control during the five Bush years exceed those of the five preceding Clinton years. The notion that the allegedly missing revenue would have been spent wisely by Congress, targeted precisely to the levees of New Orleans, and that the reconstruction would have been completed in time, is a threefold fallacy. The argument ends when you realize that, as The Post noted, "the levees that failed were already completed projects." (emphasis mine.)

If it's an earthquake in El Salvador, then it still must be Bush's fault. No kidding, that's how these liberal wacko's actually "feel," and no amount of proof can convince them otherwise. These self described intellectuals follow the likes of idiots like Michael Moore-on and Billionairs like communist George Soros, who claims to be for the little guy. Yeah, for the little guys money! All these democrats, every single-one of them are out for themselves, and that's it. They lie, cheat and steal to get whatever they desire, then deny whatever they did or said to get it by claiming "the ends justifies the means." Their arrogance runneth amok.

The democrats have a big problem on their hands with these looney liberals, many of whom can be found on blogs and internet chat rooms wailing away with wild conspiracy theories one after another. Democrats are losing the American people in a huge way and they're only making matters worse with every word (false accusation) they utter.

During the hurricane, the top officials of New Orleans didn't even evacuate the people until after 24 hours, and it was president Bush who told them to do it. The plans were in place and the governor failed to follow them. Gov. Blanco froze under pressure. Hundreds of buses were left sitting in parking lots while the people drowned.

Democrats have proven themselves massively incompetent when it comes to emergencies, unable to make sound decisions in times of crisis' because of their wild emotions which screw everything up, every time. They simply cannot think with their brains, yet many claim themselves to be "intellectuals," mainly for cosmetic reasons. Go figure.

But research into more than ten years of reporting on hurricane and flood damage mitigation efforts in and around New Orleans indicates that local and state officials did not use federal money that was available for levee improvements or coastal reinforcement and often did not secure local matching funds that would have generated even more federal funding.

So Howie is correct about the ugly truth that under democrat leadership, the state of Louisiana has failed the people, having become a total disaster. See: "
Democrats lie while people die...

Katrina's Racism?

Many democrats have fallen into the racism trap set by Jesse Jackson, who claims that the government is against black people and that was the reason for the "slow" federal response to hurricane Katrina. Funny thing is that many from the federal responders arrived before Jackson did, which means they were there pretty fast.

Columnist Jonah Goldberg has written a great article out about rapper Kanye West who launched an unscripted, self-indulgent diatribe declaring that George Bush doesn’t care about black people.” But in reality, nothing could be further from the truth.

The insanity of these statements reflect badly on him, Jesse Jackson and other blacks who believe it. It also shows how desperate democrats are to get back the black voters they lost, after many realized they've gone nowhere following the empty rhetoric spewed by these so-called leaders.

President Bush has done more to help black people than any other president in recent times. In fact, more blacks now own their own homes than ever before due to Bush's tax cuts. Also, the no child left behind act is helping black children learn better and faster throughout the nation.

Under democrats who control the state, black only get poorer, as clearly exposed in Louisiana. The same thing is happening in other states such as Illinois that is fully under democrats control, blacks are getting poorer, while reverse racism grows.

For now, these folks in New Orleans and other areas affected by the hurricane will be better off in the long run than ever before since president Bush has declared the city will be rebuilt with billions of taxpayer dollars. I've seen it happen with my own eyes in other areas of the country after a disaster has struck. The town will become new and grow to proportions people never dreampt of. More people will move back after the work that should have been done long ago, finally get's done.

This will all happen under new government leadership when these democrat bumblers are voted out of Louisiana's state and local offices.

Over Reactive Hysterics

The nightmare in New Orleans was real. It was terrible. It was the worst thing to ever happen to the nation. It was a hurricane that took out a city of sin. It happened last week. There's plenty of blame to go around, but that won't fix anything now as the damage has been done. Learning from mistakes will require much study, but some have shown an unwillingness to be educated.

Things were made worse by false reports from the emotional misfits on the left with the media reporting every word against President Bush they could find, while praising the ineptitude of the democratic governor and senator–two very emotional women who panicked when put to the test, and who set bad examples for the people in the state.

Image hosted by Photobucket.comWe've also seen pathetic actors like Sean Penn race down there for photo-ops, only his little boat that couldn't hold anyone started sinking the minute he put in the water and he had to frantically bail it out. Stay home Penn, and count your money as we all know that's your god. "Revs" Jesse Jackson and his wannabe copy high tailed it down there for the cameras. Notice that they only show up after events, and while there are plenty of media to cover their whining tirades taking advantage of the poor lost souls who listen to them.

This over-reaction is in the process of backfiring on democrats, again.

A Washington Post-ABC survey (poll) found that president Bush is not seen by most as the left has tried to make him out to be. In fact, most people have great confidence in the president to stay calm in the storm, which is the mark of a real leader.

President Bush said now is not the time to point fingers and he did not respond to calls for a commission to investigate the response.

Remember that the 9/11 commission's findings are now very much in doubt due to the cover-up of information by certain members appointed from Clinton administration.

"One of the things people want us to do here is play the blame game," Bush said. "We've got to solve problems. There will be ample time to figure out what went right and what went wrong."

Governor, Kathleen Blanco and Senator Mary Landrieu, both democrats, failed by panicking in the early stages, thus proving themselves unworthy of the office they currently hold.

Gov. Blanco resisted early pleas to declare martial law, and her indecision's opened the way for looters, rapists and killers to make New Orleans an unholy hell, costing perhaps hundreds of lives. The governors job was to evacuate the area most effected. She didn't. Bush had to step in and make the call.

The overly-hysterical senator Mary Landrieu (D), threatened on national television to punch out the president -- a felony, even as a threat. Her emotional outbursts and complete lack of confidence both during after the hurricane only made things worse for the survivors. Those watching on TV saw a deer in the headlights. After her incompetence was exposed, she then started blaming the president for not doing her job.

Of course this will all be dealt with when these two woman are up for reelection, which they will have a very hard time winning.

New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin blew it by not evacuating soon enough and waited until the storm became a catagory 5 hurricane which was then less than 24 hours before impact.

The Mayor has endorsed the gay event Southern Decadence and promoted the activities in a letter stating: "There is no place like this on Earth! Southern Decadence XXXII is an exciting event. We welcome you and know that you can anticipate great food, great music and great times in New Orleans." The event has been rescheduled in spite of the hurricane and deaths of thousands. See how sick these people are here... Homosexuals celebrate in ravaged New Orleans

Republican Gov. Haley Barbour did not hesitate in neighboring Mississippi, and looters, rapists and killers have not turned the streets of Gulfport and Biloxi into killing fields. He handled the hurricane in a professional manner using his brain first and emotions later which saved countless lives.

The president said that he and his Cabinet members were focused on planning in several areas of immediate need _ restoring basic services to affected areas, draining the water from New Orleans, removing debris, assessing public health and safety threats and housing for those displaced by the storm. "Most importantly," Bush said, officials are trying to figure out how to get Social Security checks to people now scattered across the country in private homes, churches and other shelters.

"This administration is not going to rest until every life is saved, until every family is reconnected, until the recovery is complete," he said.

"Bureaucracy is not going to stand in the way of getting the job done for the people," the president said after a meeting at the White House with his Cabinet on storm recovery efforts.

"What I intend to do is lead an investigation to find out what went right and what went wrong," Bush said. "We still live in an unsettled world. We want to make sure we can respond properly if there is a WMD attack or another major storm."

The problem for the democrats is leadership, and the total lack of it in their party. The emotional misfits are incapable of dealing with reality in a calm thoughtful way, instead running off into hysteria with their hands flailing in the air looking for someone to blame and call names, just like some snotty kids do at recess when they can't get their way, or when they lose a contest.

The liberal media doesn't realize how badly this shows on democrats until it's too late. Then comes the lies and cover-ups afterwards, pouring salt on an open wound.

Can it get any worse for democrats? Stay tuned!

Katrina Blows--from the Left

Image hosted by Photobucket.comIn the aftermath of what many are calling the worst hurricane America has ever suffered, there are those looking to put the blame anywhere except where it truly belongs, and there are those working to overcome the devastation by looking to the future while not blaming anyone.

The latter is the way to go, just as it was after 9/11 and many other severe disruptions that have occurred in the last two decades, including Hurricane Andrew, which was by all accounts the worst disaster to hit the nation, up until now.

Partisan democrats and their liberal base of misfits are looking to blame the president for this natural disaster, by claiming that it is part of "global warming" and that Bush didn't sign on to Kyoto to prevent things like this from happening, which is just pure partisan demagoguery at work. See: Hurricane of Misinformation

Democrats are also blaming Bush because that funds for fixing the Levee in New Orleans were cut by congress. Unfortunately for liberals, it was the democrats who led to that happening.

What the blame throwers on the left are not telling you is that the budget was just voted on this past June and hence there was not even near enough time to fix the problem before the Hurricane happened.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said Thursday that a lack of funding for hurricane-protection projects around New Orleans did not contribute to the disastrous flooding that followed Hurricane Katrina. See: Corps officials: Funding levels not to blame for flooding

Congress in 1999 authorized the corps to conduct a $12 million study to determine how much it would cost to protect New Orleans from a Category 5 hurricane, but the study isn't scheduled to get under way until 2006. It was not clear why the study has taken so long to begin, though Congress has only provided in the range of $100,000 or $200,000 a year so far.

Al Naomi, senior project manager in the corps' New Orleans District, said it would cost as much as $2.5 billion to build such a system, which would likely include gates to block the Gulf of Mexico from Lake Pontchartrain and additional levees. If the project were fully funded and started immediately, Naomi said it could be completed in three to five years.

Funding for these projects has generally trended downward since at least the last years of the Clinton administration. Congressional records show that the levee work on Lake Pontchartrain received $23 million in 1998 and $16 million in 1999.

The liberal media is attempting to blame the government for not acting quickly enough to the hurricane, when in reality, they were telling people to evacuate when it became clear the storm was worsening quickly as it sat in the Gulf. Thousands of people did leave and saved themselves by heading the warnings.

Image hosted by Photobucket.comThe media is harping on the government because they didn't show up immediately enough, which means the second after the hurricane hit for liberals. Relying on government to help you is the worst choice you can make. We must rely on ourselves and each other to get things done because the government is just too big to move quickly.

This hurricane along with the Tsunami could be a preludes for worse things to come upon America and other parts of the world. Notice what is happening in Israel is also happening here. People are being displaced from their land in both countries simultaneously. The correlation is intriging. God said that those who mess with his people will be cut to pieces.

He also says about Israel, "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you." Gen. 12:3

But to all nations, he says...

"There will be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars, and on earth nations will be in dismay, perplexed by the roaring of the sea and the waves.

People will die of fright in anticipation of what is coming upon the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

But when these signs begin to happen, stand erect and raise your heads because your redemption is at hand." LUKE 21:25-28

Earthquakes are swarming near southern San Andreas fault... See link: HERE I'd be leaving San Fran and Vegas.

"Although the loss of lives is deeply saddening, this act of God destroyed a wicked city," stated Repent America director Michael Marcavage in a statement. "From 'Girls Gone Wild' to 'Southern Decadence,' New Orleans was a city that opened its doors wide open to the public celebration of sin. May it never be the same." Other cities who've done the same are in danger of getting a taste of God's holy wrath. But most will continue to deny it all even after it happens because of their selfishly lustful ambitions.

More than 18,000 National Guard troops in the United States have been dedicated to Katrina relief and security. This could be the largest military response to a natural disaster.

It makes no sense to spend billions of dollars to rebuild a city (until we know what we're dealing with) that's seven feet under sea level, House Speaker Dennis Hastert said of federal assistance for hurricane-devastated New Orleans. But that statement was reported by the liberal media who miss quoted Hastert by leaving out the words in parens.

Image hosted by Photobucket.comThe Bush administration intends to seek more than $10 billion to cover immediate relief needs in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, congressional officials said Thursday, and lawmakers made plans to approve the request by the weekend. "It looks like a lot of that place could be bulldozed," the Illinois Republican said in an interview Wednesday with The Daily Herald of Arlington, Ill.

Fights and fires broke out, corpses lay out in the open, and rescue helicopters and law enforcement officers were shot at as flooded-out New Orleans descended into anarchy Thursday. "This is a desperate SOS," the mayor said.

According to the New York Times on THURSDAY: "There are signs of complete social breakdown, experts and locals say, a descent into a kind of predatory violence."

Islamic extremists rejoiced in America's misfortune, giving the storm a military rank and declaring in Internet chatter that "Private" Katrina had joined the global jihad, or holy war. With "God's help," they declared, oil prices would hit $100 a barrel this year.

In other news and/or tribulations... The man who blew the whistle on Iran’s secret nuclear program two years ago, Aliraza Jafarzedeh, is now saying that Iran’s military is intimately involved in Iran’s nuclear program, and that it is not for peaceful purposes, but rather for military purposes. (Great, this is all we need!)

Jafarzedeh, in a news conference at the National Press Club last Friday, told reporters that his reputable sources inside Iran say there are several nuclear installations that the United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency has not yet inspected. These plants, he says, are developing nuclear materials in conjunction with the Iranian military. Meantime, the Iranians are close to deploying nuclear capable cruise missiles that can reach well into the heart of Europe, nearly 2,000 miles in any direction from Iran, Jafarzedeh said.

Gary Bauer, President of American Values, said this news is disturbing because it appears the Iranians are further along in their nuclear development than most people think. See: Iran Has Tons of Gas for Nuke Bomb

Right now as things seem to be at their worst, the best thing we can all do is pray for the needy to the Lord for the courage to weather and persevere through these trying times, asking for his divine help.

If you don't believe in praying, well good luck to ya then, because you're on your own in this wild, wilder world.
