Indictment DeLay's Dems Downfall
With a new indictment against Tom DeLay, who is temporarily stepping aside, the democrats believe they have started to crash the GOP party and they're giddy as all get out.
But as has been the case over the past four years, the democrats are betting their hopes and dreams on emotional hysterics driven by partisan revenge.
After finally finding a conciliatory judge who would allow democrats to proceed with their charges of conspiracy against DeLay, they've inadvertently set themselves up for another battle they will likely lose, thus delaying temporarily their own inevitable downfall.
Rep. Tom DeLay
For now, the leftists' are happy campers again as their cronies have been cowed to their wishes, having pushed through this very shaky indictment against Mr. DeLay they've been whining about for months.
This is surely setting the "impeach Bush" liberals on fire, with feelings that charges against Bush are all but certain to come. However, be listening for a crash on the left to be heard around the world in the not too distant future.
“This indictment is nothing more than prosecutorial retribution by a partisan Democrat,” Madden said, citing prosecutor Ronnie Earle, a Democrat.
Madden later added: “They could not get Tom DeLay at the polls. They could not get Mr. DeLay on the House floor. Now they’re trying to get him into the courtroom. This is not going to detract from the Republican agenda.”
Since losing the majority way back in 1994, Democrats have been attempting to run the country through judicial fiat, by stacking the courts with liberal judges who they use to push their agenda by creating laws from the bench instead of through legislation as required by the U.S. Constitution.
DeLay's Lawyer said:"INDICTMENT IS LIKE A DEAD SKUNK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, AND IT STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN."
The Associated Press reports that "DeLay has denied committing any crime and accused the Democratic district attorney leading the investigation, Ronnie Earle, of pursuing the case for political motives." Earle is a liberal Democrat, and in 1993 according to Michael Barone's article at USNews.com, "he brought criminal charges against Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, then comptroller and now U.S. senator; most of the charges were dismissed by the judge before trial, and the remaining charges were withdrawn."
The case was summarized as follows by the Austin Review: "Earle's politically motivated indictment of Senator Hutchinson on charges that she used state funds to run her senatorial campaign made even his own supporters cringe."
The backfire for democrats on this is going to make Katrina look like a spring shower in comparison.
There is another hurricane brewing named "Able Danger" that is coming to swamp the democrats soon, making their current fling against DeLay a last-gasp attack on the GOP that may have severe consequences. Able Danger Witnesses to Go Public
The funniest quote of the day winner was this: “The criminal indictment of Majority Leader Tom Delay is the latest example that Republicans in Congress are plagued by a culture of corruption at the expense of the American people,” said House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.
Like she's anyone to talk about corruption? How many trips has Pelosi taken on the taxpayers dime? Democrats are corrupt to their core, filled with so much hatred and arrogance that they actually feel they are above the law. Dems constantly blame others for what they have done or are doing themselves at the same time. Pointing the finger at others hypocritically is the kiss of death for Democrats.
This is why the indictment against DeLay will be another huge mistake for the democrats that could cost them dearly in 2006, unless the GOP lets DeLay twist in the wind on his own, which isn't very likely.
So dems are about to step right into the muck again, having not learned one thing in the past four years, still clinging to their partisan hatred of America. Amazing!
