Finally, a Step Forward

Joining many in the nation, the first thing I did upon hearing the news of the Supreme Court decision to end the practice of partial birth abortion, was to praise the Lord and pray that this the beginning of the end for abortion.

I don't even care what the liberal baby killers have to say on the issue, they're simply wrong and have been since Roe v. Wade in 1973, when liberal lawyers conned a woman into lying about her pregnancy. That's what the left does – working for satan – they lie to get what they want and don't give a rats-rear about the consequences.

45,000,000 dead babies later, they're still finding ways around their conscience, if they have one at all. Another hideous procedure is being done to keep those who want to kill their babies using man-made law protected. By dismembering the baby inside the womb, women can kill them piece by piece, giving no credence to how it would feel if the same thing happened to them.

Kathleen Parker says in her excellent, albeit disturbing article, A Supreme Test of Human Sanity

"Opponents of the ruling assert that this is a dark day for Americans' constitutional rights and women's right to choose. They say this ruling is merely part of the pro-life strategy for gutting Roe v. Wade, one ruling at a time."

So the left wants to kill babies by dismembering them one limb at a time, but they don't like it when their favorite law is taken apart the same way. How these folks live with themselves is beyond rational thinking.

President George W. Bush in keeping his promise to appoint conservative judges to the court said that the decision affirms the progress his administration has made to defend the "sanctity of life."

"I am pleased that the Supreme Court has upheld a law that prohibits the abhorrent procedure of partial birth abortion," he said. "Today's decision affirms that the Constitution does not stand in the way of the people's representatives enacting laws reflecting the compassion and humanity of America."

Former Massachusetts Republican Governor and presidential contender Mitt Romney, said,
"Today, our nation's highest court reaffirmed the value of life in America by upholding a ban on a practice that offends basic human decency," adding, "This decision represents a step forward in protecting the weakest and most innocent among us."

Republican House leader John Boehner of Ohio said,
"I applaud the Court for its ruling today, and my hope is that it sets the stage for further progress in the fight to ensure our nation's laws respect the sanctity of unborn human life."

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg wrote in dissention, "Today's decision is alarming," saying the ruling "refuses to take ... seriously" previous Supreme Court decisions on abortion.

Those decisions to make and keep abortion legal were based on evil and selfishness, so naturally Ginsberg and the liberals are against correcting them. Why are so many libs are against the war? It seems they want Americans and especially Iraqis to suffer and die, as would certainly happen in much larger numbers if we followed their desires, as president Nixon did when pulling our troops out of Vietnam, where millions were slaughtered after we left.

In lieu of the fact that protecting life is favorable to death – for the vast majority – Democrats will eventually pay a severe price for all their selishly erroneous decisions.

Democrat candidate and ex-senator John ($400 Haircut) Edwards, said on Wednesday that he "could not disagree more strongly" with the high court's decision.
"The ban upheld by the Court is an ill-considered and sweeping prohibition that does not even take account for serious threats to the health of individual women." "This hard right turn is a stark reminder of why Democrats cannot afford to lose the 2008 election."

Afford to lose by letting babies live? Edwards has just admitted that Democrats only want to win so they can keep killing innocent unborn babies to keep their master in hell happy.

As I said above, they is simply wrong on the issue.

You would think that with his wife having cancer, he'd have more compassion, but he clearly doesn't. Mr. Edwards wants to give women the right to kill their unborn babies so they will vote for him, while at the same time trying to extend the life of his wife living with cancer. Something is very wrong with this picture.

Ginsburg said the latest decision "tolerates, indeed applauds, federal intervention to ban nationwide a procedure found necessary and proper in certain cases by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists." Of course many OB's are women who side with abortion and also are bought by the democrats, who will always seek out those willing to sell their souls.
